Relax Gaming’s journey began in 2010 when Patrik Österåker and Jani Tekoniemi crossed paths in a Maltese pub. United by their skills and interests, they founded Relax Gaming with a vision to deliver a superior and more adaptable gaming platform compared to existing options at the time.
Partnering with Unibet early on gave Relax Gaming a significant boost, establishing a long-lasting relationship that endures to this day. What began with just a small team has evolved into a thriving European gaming enterprise with a diverse portfolio and employees spanning multiple countries.

Meet the Team
At the helm of Relax Gaming is CEO and co-founder Patrik Österåker, a native of Vaasa, Finland. Joining him is COO Martin Stålros from Skåne, Sweden, who brought his expertise from Ladbrokes and Unibet to the table. Additionally, CTO Kai Palomäki and CFO Markus Kruk both hail from Finland, each contributing a unique skill set to the company.
