Regrettably, the game’s music and sound effects remain the same as the original Sugar Rush, which, although not a negative aspect, feels like a missed opportunity to enhance the experience with the addition of some harp chords or the sound of Cupid’s bow.

Fans of the Sugar Rush series will be happy to see the return of the main feature from the original game, the tower-building bonus round, in the Valentine’s Day edition. Triggered by the appearance of three heart-topped cupcakes on a valid payline, players are taken to a new screen where they must construct a tower of delightful treats.
As various snacks drift across the screen, players must choose one to create each layer of their tower, with each item offering a different prize.
